Accidental death and dismemberment life insurance is available to eligible Employees and their dependents. Premiums are paid 100% by the employee through payroll deduction. Coverage ranges from $20,000 to $250,000 with a maximum of 10 times the Employee’s base annual salary. Family coverage can be purchased. Dependent coverage is a percentage of the Employee’s elected amount, with a $25,000 maximum per child. The total cost is .021¢ for $1,000 of coverage for Employee only option. Employee/Family option cost is .032¢ per $1,000 of coverage. Note: 9, 10 and 11-month employees’ annual premiums are paid over the academic year.
