Q: Is the AggieCa$hCard like an ATM card?
  A: No, the AggieCa$hCard is not an ATM card. You will not be able to withdraw money from it through an ATM.
   
Q: How does the AggieCa$hCard work?
  A: Just present your ID card to make an on-campus purchase and your account will be automatically debited.

Q: How do I open an account?
  A: There are several ways to set up an account:
  1. Complete online form (option)
  2. Send in the completed application with your deposit;
  3. Stop by the ID Card Services Office in Corbett Center with a completed Application and your deposit;
  4. Sign up at New Student Orientation or at Registration.

When you sign up, there is a $25.00 Minimum Deposit.

Q: Where is the AggieCa$hCard accepted?
  A: The AggieCa$hCard is accepted all over campus. It is not a Membership Plan, but a campus-wide account. You can use it at:
 
  • NMSU Bookstore
  • Convenience stores
  • Laundry Facilities
  • Student Health
  • Employee Health
  • Vending machines
  • Frenger food court
  • All dining locations
  • And more!
  • Corbett Corner Convenience Store
  • Aggie Xpress Convenience Store
   
Q: Is there a time limit on when I can open an account?
  A: No, you can open an account at any time, and it will roll over into the next semester as long as you are enrolled at NMSU.

Q: I've changed my mind. Can I get my money back?
  A: Refunds are made by request only. Any balance over $10.00 will be refunded by check and mailed in approximately 10 working days.
   
Q: I've lost my card! What do I do?
 

A: If a card is lost or stolen, you should immediately report it to the ID Card Services Office where it will be invalidated. If the card holder fails to notify the Office within two (2) days of learning of the loss or theft, the account holder's potential liability could be as much as $500.

Q: How do I (or my parents) put more money into my AggieCa$hCard?
  A:
1.By visiting our office, located on the first floor of Corbett Center room 137,or by phone with a credit card.
2.Call (505) 646-4835 and have your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card ready. We'll send you the receipt right away;
   
Q: What's the difference between Flex money and the AggieCa$hCard?
  A: Flex points are a bonus that comes with Lifestyle Membership plans that can only be used at campus dining locations, such as Crossroads, Taos Restaurant, Java City, Aggie Snack Bar. AggieCa$h can be used at these locations as well as throughout other campus locations. Once flex money is depleted, that portion of membership plan cannot be replenished.
