HILLEL JEWISH STUDENT FELLOWSHIP

Hillel is established to provide social and cultural opportunities for NMSU's Jewish students, faculty and staff. Hillel is operated in conjunction with Temple Beth El, Las Cruces' only synagogue, located at 3980 Sonoma Springs Road. A joint student/faculty steering committee schedules a variety of programs to bring Jewish students together including:

• On and off campus social events
• Holiday celebrations
• Home Hospitality for the High Holy Days and Passover seders
• Films and speakers
• Discussion groups
• Weekly Shabbat services and onegs at Temple Beth El
• Employment opportunities for Religious School teachers and Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutors
