LUTHERAN CAMPUS MINISTRY [ELCA]

Founded in the 1970s, Lutheran Campus Ministry (ELCA) is an outreach of Peace Lutheran Church, 1701 E. Missouri, located on the corner of Missouri Ave. and Locust in Las Cruces. Lutheran Campus Ministry offers Christian fellowship and service to students, faculty and staff at NMSU, and to the community at large. Activities for students include worship, food and fellowship, Bible study, and occasional service projects, retreats, and conferences with Lutheran students from around the region and the nation. Sunday morning worship at Peace Lutheran is at 9:00 a.m., with Christian education for all ages at 10:30. Lutheran Campus Ministry meets at the church at 6:15 pm on Wednesdays during fall and spring semesters. Meetings include dinner, Bible study, and sometimes a special program. Additional activities as planned by the students often take place on Saturdays or other days of the week and occasionally include other campus ministries at NMSU.
