Travel Information



Below are some resources for any faculty , staff or student who will be traveling outside of the U.S.
  1. U.S. State Department current travel warnings at http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis_pa_tw_1168.html. This website has a listing of countries with specific travel information provided. You can also simply select the country of travel to determine if there are any State Department warnings.
  2. For helpful travel hints and visa requirements for foreign countries, please go to http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1765.html . Visa requirements can be found at Country Specific Information and/or information for that country's embassy in the U.S. is provided so that you can call to ask about visa requirements, costs, and availability.
  3. Health Risks: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/default.aspx website will provide you with Traveler.s Health Tips, special consideration for specific countries and vaccination requirements. Should any vaccinations be required and/or recommended for your travel, these can be obtained from the NMSU Student Health Center for a fee (646-1512).
