NSF New Mexico-Chihuahua Partnership for Innovation  Second General Partners Conference, April 2007

The Office of the Dean for International and US-Mexico Border Programs at New Mexico State University; and the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Chihuahua, carried out its second general forum which was held in Chihuahua, at the College of Engineering Auditorium.  The meeting began at 10 a.m. on April, 20th and ended that evening with a dinner at the Graduate School.  Each institution gave a presentation on the progress of their project and their plans for the future.  After the presentations all attendees were invited to go on a tour of the City of Chihuahua. 

On Saturday April 21st from 10:00 am to 11:00 am the five institutions were also invited to visit the Nombre de Dios Caverns in Chihuahua.  Cavern Info

This conference focused on analyzing and planning among the various Partner Institutions.  We became acquainted with the progress of the different student projects, as well as worked on planning future bi-national activities.
