ITESM Workshop on Computer Aided Design / Manufacture

The Computer Aided Design/ Manufacture Workshop was held on Friday, March 30, 2007 by the Partnership for Innovation program at the ITESM Campus in Chihuahua.  The workshop was offered by Professor Salinas for the students in the program.  The program's audience learned how to create virtual models of various of the components in the integral wind power system.  Students also learned how to perform virtual simulations and draw relevant information from their simulations such as the possibility of interference,  moments of inertia, center of gravity, total mass and surface area.  The attendees then generated the files required by ITESM Chihuahua's Rapid Prototyping machine to produce tangible models.
