International Development & Cooperation
Specific services provided by Office of international Program (OIP) to faculty/staff are:
- International Interest Survey - identification of faculty/staff interests and capabilities through the development & maintenance of a faculty/staff database
- International opportunities - identification and dissemination
- Proposal preparation, budgeting and institutional capability support (history of NMSU’s involvement in international activities)
- Contract development and negotiation
- Contract monitoring, administrative project management and coordination support
Faculty/Staff are encouraged to participate in international activates, programs an/or projects with the expectation that they will provide needed expertise, but will positively exploit the international experience such that something is brought back by faculty/staff to incorporate into their teaching, research and/or service functions at NMSU.
