Colin Gromatzky is the former General Manager of KRWG-FM, the public radio station at New Mexico State University. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from New Mexico State University in 1968 and a master's degree in mass communications from Brigham Young University in 1978. In the media, he has worked as a news director, program director, disc jockey, television producer/director, development director and general manager. He has taught at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo and has been a college instructor on the main campus since 1983. He has taught writing for the mass media, the business of broadcasting, a senior communications seminar and Media & Society. He currently teaches Media Ethics and is serving as the Interim Program Coordinator for the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications.
