Photographing Johnny Florez, Isabelle Aguirre and Tony Hernandez was such a wonderful learning process for me.   For one month, I went every Saturday to the Farmer’s Market to photograph them.  I enjoyed every minute of it.  Every time I would go, my experience only got better and better and we only got closer and closer. 
Their Mexican-folk music brought such joy to me.  Johnny Florez said that he has been a musician for 62 years.  I asked both Florez and Aguirre why they liked performing, they had the same response, “We like to see people happy… we like to see them dancing.”  Spending that time with them not only brought me close to these wonderful people but also taught me that dedication and passion for what you do always brings joy to you and to those around you. I would like to thank them for allowing me to spend those four weeks with them, GRACIAS.
