Idaho's record wasn't setting ESPN on fire with only two wins, yet they were proving stubborn for the Aggies to put down in their final home game of the season. Yet again, the team came from behind and put a good lead on in the final minutes. The Aggies triumphed over Idaho 66-50.

At one point falling behind into double digits, the now familiar Aggie second half run came on full steam. Thanks to another 20+ point night from Tyrone Nelson, a player clearly emerging as the team's leader, and some key steals by Mike Mitchell, the Aggies rose above their opponents.

Sending off his one of his two senior players, Reggie Theus commented that Trevor Lawrence was a warrior; that he never gave in. That is a good anaology for the rest of the

team. The newly instilled heart was visible in diving for balls if not in immediate victory.

The come from behind win against Idaho at least showed the influence Theus has had on the team. The guys do not give up. Last season was another story, but now, there seems to be a fire for the fight and the taste for winning. A hungry team is a team to fear and one hopes that in the seasons ahead, NM State can push that onto its opponents and into a new era for the school's sports program.
