Despite Holbrook's steller performance, the stern Lobo defensive line claimed five turnovers on the Aggies. The fumbles and interceptions proved costly as the Lobos converted most of the turnovers directly into cash at the in-zone.
Playing against a divisional equal like the Lobos, the Aggies, built around Holbrook, showed they can move the ball up the field and score consistently. There is a lot of football yet to play and it looks like the Aggies can show what they are capable of doing.
