Abdullah Orozco is the head instructor and has been the president of the MMA Alliance since its inception in the fall of 2001. 

Abdullah began his training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the internal arts under Tim Cartmell in 1997.  Since then, Abdullah has acheived the rank of Level One Instructor under Tim Cartmell from the Shen Wu Martial Arts Academy.

In 2000, Abdullah met and began training directly under BJJ and Judo black belt, Cleber Luciano.  Abdullah tested for and received his blue belt from Cleber in March 2003.

Currently, Abdullah is active in Judo.  He regularly competes in Judo and hopes to achieve his black belt within the next two years.  He currently holds the rank of sankyu.
