Employee Assistance Program
Supervisors are responsible for the evaluation of an employee's job performance. When a supervisor recognizes that personal problems may be affecting the employee's ability to perform, he/she can refer the employee to EAP.
It is important for the employee to understand that this referral is not a disciplinary action. Rather it is a positive action to help the employee toward re-attaining acceptable job performance.
