| Qualifications: | NO TYPING TEST REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
Deadline: March 25, 2008 or until filled Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience; Base Hourly Rate is $11.48, Grade 32 Conditions: EMPLOYMENT DATE: March 2008 or later LOCATION: White Sands Missile Range, NM or Las Cruces New Mexico POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING DAYS/HOURS WORKED: MON-FRI, 7:30AM-4:30PM; SOME WEEKENDS & EVENINGS AS NEEDED. Special Requirements—Ability to obtain a government clearance is required. U.S Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain an interim clearance before start of employment and a final SECRET Clearance within one year. Ability to lift 50 lbs Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience or an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field with a minimum of three (3) years related experience, or any combination of education and experience which may include military education in EET (DD214 form required), which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities: • Experience in the use of electronic test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Volt Meters for use in setup and troubleshooting of digital, analog, and RF circuits, assemblies, and systems with focus on ECM systems a plus. • Experience in fabrication to include wiring harnesses, PC boards, RF systems, and mechanical fabrication techniques for flight rated equipment. • Skill in the use of personal computers; public contact and relations; short-range and long-range planning; problem analysis and resolution; soldering, assembly techniques; organizing and maintaining records; research methods. • Ability to communicate effectively in oral, graphical, and written forms; develop and maintain effective working relationships; use independent judgment and initiative; analyze and evaluate information; generate, read, and interpret schematic, and wiring diagrams. • Flight line activities on a military installation and the associated regulations and restrictions when working with military aircraft desired. | ||||||
| Examples of Duties: | Examples of Duties: Fabricate, setup, test, evaluate, modify, repair, and operate ECM systems and test equipment. Develop technical drawings, schematics, and reports as required. Design and develop analog, digital, and RF hardware for ECM systems. Take direction from supervisor and senior staff
