POSITION LOCATION-
Department of Animal & Range Sciences

POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING.

Valid driver's license is required.
Qualifications: - Master’s degree (in hand by hire date) in Animal Sciences or closely related field and three years of related
experience. (Ph.D. preferred).
- Strong teaching proficiency or aptitude and successful interaction with students is necessary.
- Ability to cooperate and communicate with students, colleagues and government or industry clientele.

Examples of Duties: - Teaching undergraduate courses in Judging Competition; other courses may be offered depending on interests
and abilities of successful candidate.
- Support and participation in all aspects of the undergraduate teaching program.
- Coordinate- the judging teams in the department and undergraduate recruitment.
- Extension responsibilities will include- administer the state 4-H livestock, wool, horse and meats judging contests;
coordinate the state FFA livestock contest and other youth clinics and collegiate workouts/contests.
- Actively participate in student recruitment for the Department
