Qualifications: Required- MLS or equivalent degree from an ALA-accredited program by date of hire. Academic background or work experience in business and/or economics. Experience using and teaching a variety of reference resources in all formats. Knowledge and use of business and economics resources. Strong commitment to public service and outreach. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, student, and community members. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to adapt to change. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Faculty status requires potential to meet standards for promotion and tenure.

Preferred- Academic or research library experience providing reference, research, and instruction services. Collection development experience. Teaching/training experience in a classroom setting.
Examples of Duties: Responsibilities- This position works alongside colleagues in the Reference and Research Services Department to provide a full range of services- general and specialized research assistance services, including virtual and in-person services with evening and weekend hours; instructional services, including course-related instruction sessions, for-credit courses, instructional workshops and guides; and subject specialist services, including collection development and outreach to the College of Business and related academic programs. As a member of the library faculty, this position is responsible for achievement in librarianship, scholarship and creative activity, and service. The position reports to the Head of the Reference & Research Services Department.
