Qualifications: Qualifications- The successful candidate must have an earned Ph. D., or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. The candidate’s primary research area should be in the thermal sciences with applications in energy systems and alternative energy.
Examples of Duties: Examples of duties- Duties of the position include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the discipline, developing a nationally-funded research program with peer-reviewed dissemination of results, and providing of service to the university and the profession.

Special Conditions: The College of Engineering at New Mexico State University (NMSU) invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department starting Fall 2012.
