| Qualifications: | ACADEMIC-
Ph.D. degree with an emphasis in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field at the time of appointment. Expected to be a Licensed Professional Engineer or be qualified to become registered within 5 years from employment date. | |||||
| Examples of Duties: | EXPERIENCE / RESPONSIBILTIES-
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in structural and civil engineering courses. Expectation to develop and sustain sponsored research with preference being given to applicants with expertise in the general areas of finite element modeling or computation of mechanics. A strong background in structural design, non-destructive testing or structural reliability would be beneficial. Conduct research, publish results and participate in service activity for the department, college and university. | |||||
