Qualifications: Required teaching includes introductory, advanced and graduate cross-cultural women’s studies courses including representing women across cultures, Arab Muslim women, gender in Arab Muslim cultures, feminist research methods, and interdisciplinary and feminist post colonial theoretical perspectives. Area of research/scholarship focus must include Arab Muslim women and apply post-colonial, feminist theory and method. Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on gender, culture and diversity/women, must have completed dissertation work related to the required area of scholarship above, and have demonstrated ability with online teaching.
Examples of Duties: Will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate Women’s Studies courses both on campus and online, to maintain active involvement is scholarship and its dissemination, and to engage in service to students, the program, the University and the larger community.
