Qualifications: General requirements include- (1) An earned doctorate in epidemiology or closely related field; (2) Potential for scholarly productivity; (3) Strong analytic skills.

Preferred Qualifications include- teaching experience; externally funded research grants.

Associate Professor requires a record of scholarship that is supported by peer-reviewed publications and presentations.

The Full Professor rank further requires a fully developed portfolio of scholarship; a track record of funding; evidence of recognition as a national or international leader.

Current assistant professors or associate professors who have a record of performance to meet the next rank are strongly encouraged to apply.
Examples of Duties: Duties include- (1) Teach in both the graduate and undergraduate program and in face-to-face and on-line formats; (2) Secure external funding; (3) Present papers at professional meetings and publish results from personal research projects in national peer reviewed professional/scholarly journals; (4) Mentor students in research, serve on and chair thesis committees. Start Date- August 1, 2012.
