Qualifications: Qualifications- Doctorate in educational administration. Experience working with diverse students and communities. Teach courses in the areas of the principalship, law, finance, special education administration, and bilingual education administration. Ability to blend theory and practical experience in Pk-12 administration; interest in Southwest cultures; knowledge of border and social justice issues; ability to do research and scholarly writing and to secure external funding; willingness to teach weekends and via distance education, including Internet-based and/or overnight travel; eagerness to collaborate within and outside the academic community.
Examples of Duties: Duties- Teach courses; advise masters’ and doctoral students; supervise administrative interns; carry out scholarship and creative activity; chair and serve on doctoral, college, and university committees. Help plan and implement new programs. Seek external funding.
