|Examples of Duties:||Teach applied voice, vocal diction, and vocal pedagogy; coordinate vocal activities for the department, including student advising, student placement, and vocal juries; participate in departmental and university committees and other university activities as assigned
Department- The Music Department at New Mexico State University is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and has approximately 220 undergraduate majors and approximately 30 graduate students. The Department offers a variety of degrees that include the Bachelor of Music in Performance, Bachelor of Music Education, Bachelor of Music Business, Masters in Conducting, Masters in Music Education, and Masters in Performance.
NMSU- NMSU is the state’s land-grant university, serving the educational needs of New Mexico’s diverse population through comprehensive programs of education, research, extension education, and public service. Founded in 1888, the university has preserved many of the traditions of its land-grant origin while also increasing emphasis on the fine arts, humanities, social and natural sciences.
