| Salary: | The faculty member’s nine month salary will be converted to a 12 month salary and the position will have the department head salary differential of $1950. | |||||

| Qualifications: | Applicants must be currently employed as full-time members of the faculty at New Mexico State University. A terminal degree in accounting or information systems or a related field is required. | |||||
| Examples of Duties: | Principle responsibilities are to lead the department in areas related to faculty activities and evaluation, curriculum, support staff, students and academic policy, planning and budgets, and external relations. The department head will work closely with the dean and associate dean to implement the College's mission and goals. It is expected that the department head will be present on campus during normal working hours for the university.
