Doctorate in speech-language pathology or closely-related field (ABD accepted with degree completed by employment date), CCC-SLP; eligibility for NM License; and ability to qualify for the graduate faculty.
At least three years of clinical experience, comfort with integrating technology into the clinical process, evidence of commitment to diversity.
|Examples of Duties:||Provide undergraduate and graduate clinical and classroom education in a Communication Disorders program serving diverse student and clinical population. Teaching and research interests may include, but are not limited to- dysphagia, motor speech, cognitive and linguistic disorders, and voice. Candidates must be interested in research and publication. Other responsibilities include participation in departmental and college activities and supervision of graduate clinicians in a well-equipped, state-of-the-art on-campus clinic. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a vibrant program with eight collegial, diverse, student-centered faculty members. The program offers bilingual and English as second language specialization strands to the 56 graduate students.
