Qualifications: A doctorate in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field is required. We are particularly interested in candidates with teaching and research interests in one or more of the following areas- production and manufacturing systems, modeling and simulation, quality systems, logistics design, and applied operations research.

Examples of Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach through traditional and distance delivery channels, advise both undergraduate and graduate students, develop an active program of sponsored research and professional service.

The Department of Industrial Engineering at New Mexico State University offers programs at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels. We have an active distance education program offering an IE Masters Degree and with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering we offer a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering.
