| Qualifications: | Required Qualifications-
1) Earned doctorate in curriculum & instruction with emphasis in mathematics education, or equivalent. 2) Three or more years of K-12 public school teaching experience or equivalent. 3) Undergraduate or graduate major/concentration in mathematics. Preferred Qualifications- 1) Evidence of effective teaching in content area (reading/literacy; math), whose scholarship and perspectives inform various areas such as the developmental, critical, and committed to cultural and linguistic diversity, inclusion and social justice; 2) evidence of ability to use educational technologies with critical perspectives (e.g., WebCT, Blackboard); 3) dispositions and/or ability to work in Spanish and/or Native American languages and English. | |||||
