| Qualifications: | The successful candidate must have a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field. Applications are solicited in all areas of materials science. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise relevant to the NMSU interdisciplinary research “clusters” and complement the established research areas in the ChE department (advanced materials for sustainable energy and clean water). | |||||
| Examples of Duties: | • Teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in chemical engineering
• Advise both undergraduate and graduate students • Perform original research work, actively seek external research grants, publish research results in scholarly journals and technical conferences • Service to the professional and academic communities • Outreach | |||||
