The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D., or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field. Particular expertise is sought in the dynamics discipline with research experience in one or more of the following areas- nonlinear dynamics, structural dynamics, vibrations, and bio-mechanics.
|Examples of Duties:||Duties of the position include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the discipline, developing a nationally-funded research program with peer-reviewed dissemination of results, and providing of service to the university and the profession.|
