| Qualifications: | Minimum qualifications are a terminal degree, an MFA in Film Production, degree must be in hand at the time of hire, and at least two years of documented, successful college level teaching experience in the areas of cinematography and directing. Evidence of excellence in teaching and an established program of scholarly/creative film work are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with a diverse student body similar to that at NMSU, advising experience, and demonstrated experience with outreach and engagement.

| Examples of Duties: | Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate level courses, providing service to the university and to the profession, academic advising, and an active creative/scholarly program, including pursuing funding opportunities where appropriate. Will serve on department, college and/or university committees; participate in departmental recruitment, retention, and outreach activities; and other duties deemed appropriate.
