| Qualifications: | Required Qualifications- Applicants must possess an MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program, have at least 3 years of professional social work experience and be licensed by the state of New Mexico or eligible for license at the LMSW level.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional staff conference/workshop planning and coordination experience, curriculum development experience, knowledge of Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) or child welfare practice experience and supervisory/administrative experience. |
| Examples of Duties: | Duties- The project coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the project’s conference schedule and planning of other training projects as outlined in the Title IV-E Joint Powers Agreement and the Title IV-B Statement of Work between CYFD and NMSU. These responsibilities include- developing and maintaining an effective relationship with CYFD/community provider staff in the coordination of conference/training activities; developing an annual conference plan and new foster parent training plan for statewide training in conjunction with CYFD; organizing, budgeting and implementing the conference/training plan; take responsibility for conference/training site selection and procurement; negotiating and overseeing contracts with presenters/trainers; preparing and organizing conference/training material and packets; recording of CEU’s; provide on-site facilitation of conferences/trainings, evaluate and analyze data and perform other duties as assigned. The project coordinator will be directly accountable and responsible to the Family and Child Welfare Training & Research (FCWTR) Project Director. The position may be located in Albuquerque. |
