| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in hand by hire date in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with three years experience related to the standard duties as outlined. • Knowledge of programming skills in multiple languages (4D, BASIC, PASCAL, C, C++, JAVA); RDBMS (MS Access, Oracle, MySQL);client/server RDB technologies; web applications and tools (Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, HTML, ML. Knowledge of the ORION enterprise software preferred. • Skills in technical problem identification and solving skills; translation of analyst/user requirements into user-friendly solutions and interfaces; training users in all aspects of ORION 4D structure and function. |
| Examples of Duties: | RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop database applications to create tables, triggers, functions stored procedures, tuning and indexes. • Maintain database schema source control. • Perform fault diagnosis and correction for database applications within the 4D environment. • Develop and execute test scripts and produce technical documentation. • Work collaboratively with vendor in design meetings and architect component development. • Work with PREDICT team analysts and directors in performing requirements analysis and implementation strategies. • Train analysts in the capabilities and efficient use of the ORION database (search, data entry/recovery/sorting/presentation). • Perform related duties as required. |
