POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Special Requirements—U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a government secret clearance is required; must be able to obtain an interim clearance before start of employment and a final SECRET clearance within one year from employment date.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in hand by hire date in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical area.

•Minimum of 3 years experience.
•Experience programming in Java.
•Experience with a version control system, preferably SVN or CVS.
•Extensive experience on Windows platform, both as a user, and a developer.
•Experience and preference to work in a small team research/development environment and be able to work well with other experienced programmers and includes assistance with the code review process and agile development methodology.
Examples of Duties: Work will be performed at New Mexico State University performing hands on development of simulation software. Work may be performed in a classified government facility performing hands on analysis of simulation software. Occasional travel may be required. Technical direction and oversight will be provided by the PSL Task Leads located at NMSU/PSL in Las Cruces, NM.
