| Qualifications: | Bachelors Degree in Biology or related field, and 5 years experience. |
| Examples of Duties: | Supervise, direct, delegate and evaluate work of assigned staff, coordinate all research and training activities for lab personnel, work directly with personnel learning to use new protocols and equipment, assist staff and students preparing to present their results. Supervise use of lab equipment. Ensure safety protocols are followed by all lab members. Work with lab director and research collaborators to develop new methodologies for the lab. Assist lab director in identifying sources of external funding. Serve as editor for research documents drafted by other lab personnel. Manage lab including organizing fiscal, inventory and maintenance processes and records. Perform related duties as required.
