Qualifications: Qualifications-Bachelor’s degree in computer related field, preferably Business Computer Systems, Information Systems or Computer Science and minimum of three (3) years related experience required.

Knowledge of- SQL; data structures and relationships; RDBMS and reporting tools such as COGNOS; Sungard Banner and FormFusion; HTML and basic web design/development tools such as Dreamweaver; desktop support including hardware and software; Windows XP and MS Office
Skills in- Problem analysis and resolution; report preparation; understanding of underlying business rules associated with data structures; attention to detail; short- and long-range planning; oral and written communication; development and maintenance of information systems
Abilities to- Direct, evaluate, train and supervise the work of assigned personnel; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct activities; analyze and evaluate information; ability to translate business function needs into system specifications and configuration; translate user objectives into technical specifications.

Examples of Duties: Automate and integrate business functions in multiple environments including Banner, Connect and Apply. Write complex reports to meet functional needs utilizing SQL as well as other reporting and query tools. Analyze and map data elements among various databases. Provide hardware and software support for all desktops in Enrollment Management. Conduct training and create documentation for functional system users. Provide daily programmatic and technical troubleshooting of systems and software. Provide technical support for web pages and database interfaces. Work and collaborate with central IT staff on system development, upgrades and maintenance. Perform related duties as required.
