POSITION LOCATION-
Based in Kabul, Afghanistan
Housing, post differential and danger pay are provided

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS-
* Bachelor's degree (in hand by hire date) and 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in relevant field and 6 years related experience or Ph.D. in relevant major and 5 years related experience. At least 4 years of relevant overseas experience preferred.
* Knowledge working with and knowledge of Ministries of IRoA and Afghan NGO’s and PRT’s preferred.
Examples of Duties: RESPONSIBILITIES-
* Assist the AWATT Chief of Party in managing and coordinating the entire in-county program operations in policy reform and analysis; others working to bridge gaps between IRoA government institutions like MAIL, Ministry of Energy and Water, Forestry and Range, Ministry of Power and Infrastructure, and others to implement sound land resource management capacities in Afghanistan.
* Serve as liaison between the working/steering group and in-county team and projects.
* Plan, manage and develop water resources; protect surface water from pollution.
