Qualifications: ACADEMIC:
Must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-language pathology or Communication Disorders

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
• A master’s degree in Communication Disorders
• A minimum of seven years experience with Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-language Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Additional years of experience working with autism spectrum disorders preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be available to hold training workshops and be willing to travel throughout Southern New Mexico. Must be flexible, eager and able to manage diverse and multiple responsibilities. Must possess initiative and the ability to work as a team member.
Examples of Duties: RESPONSIBILITIES-
Individual will be responsible for coordinating services and trainings in Southern New Mexico working with the public school districts; responsible for budget of $100,000.00 recurring funds; submitting budget reports to the legislators; conducting training in 11 counties of Southern New Mexico; supervising graduate students in conducting speech-language therapy with individuals with ASD; and providing evaluations as determined by individual need.
