| Qualifications: | Academic
Baccalaureate degree plus 3 years experience required. Experience, knowledge, skills & abilities • Extensive experience in and understanding of educational needs of American Indians, pueblos, and tribes. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Comprehensive understanding of the culture of stakeholders. • Ability to and interest in travel. |
| Examples of Duties: | • Assist in developing a year-round college access program for New Mexico’s Native youth.
• Recruit, guide, assist, and support New Mexico high school students interested in college. • Learn about and keep current with best practices in college access for Native youth.. • Act as liaison between NMSU, students, faculty, support services, and administration. |
