Qualifications: Masters Degree (PhD Preferred)
3-4 years experience

Knowledge of: University and department policies and procedures; principles and practices of organization and administration; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation. Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics, computational geometry and meshing technology, particle simulation methods, like direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) and Particle-In-Cell (PIC).

Skills in: Short-and long-range planning; problem analysis and resolution; report preparation and presentation; public contact and relations; oral and written communication; familiar with C++ and Fortran programming, literature review and database design.

Ability to: Direct, evaluate, train, and supervise the work of assigned personnel; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct activities; analyze and evaluate information. Supervise graduate students on research towards their Ph.d. and M.S. degrees; debugging code; write project reports, conference and journal papers, white paper and formal proposals.

Examples of Duties: • Supervise, direct, delegate and evaluate work of assigned staff
• Develop particle simulation package for rate gas and rarefied plasma and rarefied plasma with particle simulation methods, particle simulations methods, like direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) and Particel-Inn-Cell (PIC)
• Help supervising graduate students towards their M.S. or PhD research
• Take part in defferent engineering projects dealing with the rarefield CFD scheme development
• Perform related duties as required.
