    • Historic Forts Day at El Camino Real International Heritage Center
      Join us for a day of re-enactments, chuck wagon food, living history demonstrations and more. 11am to 4pm. Event is free with paid monument admission ($5). Free for ages 16 and under, MNM and ECRIHC Foundation members. www.elcaminoreal.org

    • Cuchillo Pecan Festival
      Pecan pie, fiddlers, pecan candy, arts and crafts, flavored pecans, BBQ, pecans, pecans and more pecans!!! Hundreds of pies will be sold. Don't miss out. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE NEW MEXICO BOYS AND GIRLS RANCHES. Ranch representatives will be available to answer questions about the their projects. Cuchillo is located on State Hwy 52, about 15 miles NW of Truth or Consequences. From Interstate 25, Exit 89 S or 83 N, on to State Road 181 (frontage road) to State Hwy 52, then 6 miles to Cuchillo.

    • Las Colcheras Quilt Show, Desert Spirit - a Bi-Annual Event (even years)
      More than 300 judged quilts, merchant mall, technical demonstrations and workshops by featured quilt artists. Quilt raffle and guild boutique. Saturday 9am-5pm; Sunday 10am-4pm.
