A good idea is to use the contact information before traveling in case of unforeseen changes. This calendar is updated annually as information is received. Key: Full Weekend means Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekend means Saturday and Sunday. All other days or dates are marked accordingly.

Cleveland Millfest
Saturday & Sunday, Sept 1 & 2
45 artists, native foods and baked goods, dance exhibitions, continuous musical entertainment! A fun weekend for all. Visit the historic Cleveland Roller Mill Museum, a three story adobe, water-powered flourmill. It will be running in full operation for the entire weekend. Cost is free into the arts & crafts and entertainment area. There is a nominal fee into the museum and a $1 parking fee.   • Every Saturday night - end of June through Labor Day Saturday
    • Chuckwagon Dinners and Vintage Western Swing Music Concerts
      Head out to the Wildlife West Nature Park to enjoy BBQ dinner, hayrides and vintage Western Swing music. A great family event. 7-9pm. Reservations required.Visit the Web site at: www.wildlifewest.org

  • Bottomless Lake State Park's "Bottomless Bubble Fest"
    An event designed for and around scuba diving. Scuba clubs from throughout New Mexico and west Texas typically attend this event. Activities consist of scuba diving, beach volleyball, a scuba related “Enchanted Evenings” program, Dive poker (prize awarded Sunday afternoon for best hand) and camping fun. There is no registration fee and divers do not need to register for the event. All park entrance and camping fees do apply. Divers that will be coming from outside of Roswell are encouraged to make a reservation for camping. The camper’s group shelter will be made available for divers to barbeque and socialize. Fees for the group shelter will be waived. All events occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

  • All American Gun and Western Collectable Show
    More than 180 booths of everything that relates to guns as well hunting equipment, knives, cowboy gear, saddles, blankets, spurs, Western relics, Indian artifacts, jewelry, coins, clothing and much, much more.     New Mexico Wine Festival at Bernalillo Wrap up the summer with the best party around! Just north of Albuquerque, the historic town of Bernalillo is host to the biggest wine festival in the state. Most all the New Mexico wineries will be there, giving their customers a rare opportunity to taste and purchase New Mexico wines at their best.   • Annual Rolling Stones Gem and Mineral Show
    The Rolling Stones Gem and Mineral Show has been a Labor Day Weekend event in Grant County for many years, drawing thousands of visitors who leave their hot, humid lowlands to travel to our cool, clean mountain environment. More than 40 vendors with fabulous specimans, jewelry, auctions, art made from rocks and gems, equipment and supplies. Free admission and food vendors available. Held at the Silver City Recreation Center. Look for signs.

  • San Vincente Art Fair in Big Ditch Park
    More than 50 artists and crafters will be showing and selling their wares in this pleasant, shaded park. Enjoy the fine selection of paintings, photography, sculpture, ceraminc, wood turning, fiber art, jewelry and more. Children's programs, food vendors and artists "In Action" will also be there. Held in Big Ditch Park in historic downtown.

  • Annual Bean Day Celebration
    Three days of rodeo, music, parade, dances, horseshoe pitching, free beef and bean BBQ (Monday), and kids games, all in a friendly historic village. Directions: On I-25 at the intersection of State Hwy 120 (387 exit). Look for the "Mound that looks like a wagon and team" on the historic Santa Fe Trail! Over 1,000 pounds of beans are cooked during this three day fiesta which started in 1910.

  • Totah Festival Contest Pow wow

  • Ramah Navajo Fair and Rodeo
    Fair begins Thursday at noon and runs through Sunday at 5pm. AIRCA multi-sanctioned rodeo open to non-members, open Show Rodeo on Sunday, Queen Pageant, 5K Fun Run/Walk. Free barbeque on Friday from 4-5pm. Country/Western dance Friday and Saturday 9-11pm. Food vendors welcome. Parade and fireworks on Saturday. Carnival throughout.     • Arts in the Orchard
      Artisans demonstrate and sell their work at this unique and wonderful event. Started in 1998, the Arts in the Orchard event is held in Lincoln County every September and is coordinated by REDTT's Lincoln County Tourism Council. The event features talented and unique artisans from around the state offering paintings, photography, soaps and sundries, hand-made wood items, baskets, folk art, batik clothing, leather works, wool spinning, blacksmithing products and so much more. Included in the event will be an Apple Pie Contest, a Fruit of the Orchard Pie Contest, watermelon seed spitting contest and lots of food. Local musicians will entertain you as you walk around to all the vendors in a beautiful and scenic setting. The event will be held in the apple orchard on the BLM field on Highway 380 in Lincoln, New Mexico, opposite the historic Lincoln Monument Courthouse Museum. 10am to 5pm. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for ages 3-11 and free for the little ones below 3 years.

      Geronimo Springs Museum is the starting place for this very interesting, all-day tour.
