Lincoln State Monument:

LOOKING FOR PARTNERS !

PARTNER Application below

A new PARTNERS group has been organized for the sole purpose of helping preserve the most unique historical area in New Mexico–the Lincoln State Monument.
The group was formed out of concern for the future of the monument due to the loss of state funding. The newly formed group, Partners in Preservation of Lincoln State Monument (PIPLSM), is applying for incorporation in New Mexico as a non-profit entity. As a non-profit group, they will reopen the gift shop at the monument’s Visitor Center. The proceeds from sales at the gift shop will be used to assist the monument by funding projects selected by the partners and approved by the directors. Until non-profit status is achieved, they will work through a non-profit group from White Oaks.
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. A campaign is underway to recruit partners for this worthy cause. The annual membership fee is $25. New members will receive a Lincoln State Monument ball cap, a newsletter and the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping preserve the past for the future.
Volunteer opportunities also are available for those who have time. Assistance during special events or to help with general projects is always needed. Even if you can’t volunteer your time, your tax deductible partnership fee or donation will do a lot to aid the group to meet its goals. It’s also an opportunity to have some fun with old and new friends and neighbors.
To sign up as a PARTNER, fill out the application below, or to get more information, please contact
Partners in Preservation of Lincoln State Monument Secretary Belen Mosley at (505) 336-4872.
