APPLICATION FOR DEGREE (DIPLOMA)
The Application for Degree (Diploma) must be submitted to the Registrar's Office by the deadline dates listed below. The degree application is available at your college, the Registrar's Office, or via the web at https://www.nmsu.edu/~registra. It is in your best interest to have a final degree check from your college before you apply.
Changes to any application must be submitted, in writing, to the Registrar's Office during the semester you plan to graduate and by the date indicated below. Name changes will not be generated using this application and will only be processed for currently enrolled students by the Registrar's Office.
Information regarding commencement will be mailed mid semester to your current address. Students who fail to meet graduation requirements by the date indicated on the Application for Degree (Diploma) must reapply and pay fees again.
The cost to submit a degree application for the is $25 for Associate (2 years) and Bachelor’s degree; $35 for Graduate degrees. A late fee of $25 will be added to applications received after last day to apply without a late fee.

DIPLOMAS
Diplomas will be mailed to the address indicated on the degree application approximately eight weeks after grades have been processed by the Registrar's Office. Any address change must be received, in writing, by the Registrar's Office before the end of the semester.
