The National Safety Council Defensive Driving Classes (DDC) at NMSU for the next semester have been posted under Training on the University Safety Web (www.nmsu.edu/~safety).

This class is one of the requirements for a permit to drive University  vehicles.  For the convenience of faculty, students, and staff, the Safety Office provides training monthly during regular work hours and at least one Saturday each semester. Course registrants must attend the entire (6 hour) DDC course in order to receive a certificate of completion and/or driving permit.  Classes typically include 35-45 persons and are open to the public.
