ANNOUNCEMENT: CPR Training Classes at NMSU for Fall 2004
Adult CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) classes have been
scheduled
for the Fall 2004 semesters as follows:
- September 14, (Tuesday afternoon) 1 - 4 pm - Adult CPR
(max. 15 persons)
- October 12, (Tuesday afternoon) 1 - 4 pm - Adult
CPR
(max. 15 persons)
- November 2, (Tuesday afternoon) 1 - 4 pm - Adult
CPR
(max. 15 persons) and
- December 7, (Tuesday morning) 9 am - noon - Adult
CPR
(max. 15 persons)
The classes will be presented at the EH&S Training facility, Room
102,
Unit B, Genesis Research Center, 4200 Research Drive (next to Employee
Health Offices) Class description, schedule and registration
are given on the NMSU EH&S website at http://www.nmsu.edu/~safety
Certified instructors from NMSU Police will provide the classes to
help
NMSU prepare for emergencies and to comply with State and Federal
requirements.
Interested individuals should register to ensure seating and attend the
class in order
to received certification.
- There is a minimal cost of $10 for the certification ($ collected
at the class). This will not
include the CPR manual (available separately).
- Certification is good for two years
- The class is open to the university community. Any interested
staff,
faculty, or student may attend.
- Minimum class size is 6 persons. We need to record interest to
hold
the class, so please register in advance.
