Announcement: Adult CPR class, March 30, 2006
EH&S is pleased to announce that a CPR (adult) class will be
provided by
NMSU Police on March 30 (1-4 pm). American Heart has recently made
changes to
their certification instruction and this will be the
first class at NMSU under the new criteria. We hope to be scheduling
monthly or bimonthly classes later in the year.
Interested parties should register in advance via the EH&S Safety
website (
http://www.nmsu.edu/~safety)
to ensure the class is
held and seating is available. The classes will be in the EH&S
training facility in Academic Research Unit C, Rm. 110, at 1620 Standley
Drive (see map on EH&S website)
- There is a minimal cost of $5 for each class. Cost
does not include the manual ($20 optional each). The
instructor has requested that attendees pick up a loaner manual about a
week in advance
from EH&S, room 109, Academic Research Unit C.
- Certification
is good for two years.
- The classes are open to the University community. Any
associated individual may attend.
- Minimum class size is 6 persons. Please register in advance to
ensure class is held and seating is available.
