but with this weather, who can wait. So join the crowd, come look at
the exhibits, watch the race, and
take a bike ride on Earth Day, April 22, this saturday at the NMSU
Horseshoe, Pride Field.
NMSU Environmental Health & Safety is happy to announce and promote
the EARTH DAY BIKE RIDE event this saturday, April 22.
The event will include Earth Day exhibitors and bicycle activities
during the morning (flyer). Families
and Kids are welcome, but Safety First, so all riders must wear
helmets.
Registration is from 7 to 9:30 a.m. The events include a Criterium
Race
(7:30 am) around the Horseshoe; two bike
rides (25 mi at 9 am and 5 mi at 9:30 am); music, food and radio remote
via
101 Gold FM; a health fair by La Clinica De Familia and
Ben Archer Health; a bus bike rack demonstration by RoadRUNNER; and ~ 20 other participants. There will be Free T-shirts to
the first 100
registrants plus water bottles and other goodies.
