Well, hopefully the roads are open and cold weather is on the way out.
January is the month to start on those resolutions for the new year, so
thursday's BBHT talk will cover the NMSU programs and opportunities for
improving your fitness and personal wellness.
On Thursday, January
Shon Myer, Assistant Director Fitness/Wellness, Physical
Ed Recreation and Dance, will present an overview of the
available programs that you can participate in and join at NMSU
(flyer). He will discuss NMSU programs to include:
presentation will be in the
NMSU Safety Training Facility,
room 110, in Academic Research Unit C (map).
- New Years resolution fitness incentives program,
- Pre-natal fitness exercise classes,
- Free group fitness/aerobics classes,
- Lifestyle enchancement programs
- Ongoing wellness services such as nutrition analysis, body
composition, wellness assessments, etc and
- more (see his agenda on safety website below).
All NMSU employees, your whole office or department, are welcome. Bring your lunch and learn about programs that will
help ‘YOU’ improve your health. These Brown Bag Health Talks are an
informal and interactive way
to provide practical information on health issues that may affect you
or your family.
