This is a photo of the tornado (click photo for large image) sighted near the El Paso gate at the southern end of White Sand Missile Range (near Chaparral, New Mexico).  The forwarded emailed information indicated the photo was taken about 1:25 pm and is credited to Cooper, Ronald (Contractor NCI)

The WSMR Public Affair Office confirmed the tornado, time, and approximate location.  They indicated that it did not damage any buildings and no one was injured.  The tornado was noted on (or near) the ground at 12:45 and was visible in the area for about 40 minutes.
