Subject: Important:Register for NMSU's Emergency Mass Notification Service
NMSU values the health and safety of its students, staff and faculty. In
order to keep the community well informed during an emergency, NMSU has
recently implemented a state-of-the-art, multi-modal emergency mass
notification service. The service will be operational as of March 15,
2009.
In order for you to be notified of emergencies through this system, you
must register your contact information at the university’s secure,
emergency notification registration web page,
https://accounts.nmsu.edu/emergency .
When activated, the system will transmit an emergency notification via
text message, university e-mail/personal e-mail, and cell phone/standard
telephone to all students, faculty and staff who have registered for the
emergency notification service.
In addition to emergency notifications, you will occasionally receive
notification test messages and reminders to update your information for
the emergency mass notification system.
